ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project “How not to get lost at home?” was created to support families, which consider or have already entered a universe of homeschooling. A think-tank of 13 experts from 4 Polish educational institutions and 1 online school from Iceland works together to exchange good practices and share their expertise.
16 months of cooperation will be divided into work on two paths. First of them - a school path - will lead to creation of a free Guidebook Step Zero, a handbook for all principals and teachers to inform them about all legal requirements and practical collaboration with homeschooled students.
The second path - a family path - will be devoted to parents. A series of online workshops and meetings will be held to support parents in such areas as integrated learning, setting goals and executing progress from their children. As a result of this path, 3 free ebooks gathering shared knowledge, ideas and inspirations will be published.

SCHOOL PATHis dedicated to educators and aims to develop the "Krok Zero" Guide. It will be a complete guide in free form ebook, which will guide you step by step through the legal and formal intricacies of cooperation between school and families in home education. The publication will also contain expert advice and good practices on how to build such relationships for the benefit of the student. The path will end with a free conference for principals and teachers, which will be an excellent opportunity to enrich your educational portfolio with knowledge and exchange of experiences in the field of building relationships on the SCHOOL-PUBLIC-PARENT line. |
FAMILY PATH is dedicated to parents of children in home education and people interested in homeschooling. The path will be inaugurated by a conference for parents - an introduction to the topic of home education with the participation of ED experts and practitioners. In order to provide parents with comprehensive support, a year-round series of tutoring meetings is planned, which will consist of workshops and mentoring meetings on topics such as integration of teaching content, setting educational goals or verifying the progress of the entire educational process. The results of these activities will be 3 free ebooks collecting and promoting knowledge, ideas and inspirations, as well as a convenient form of short video-training conveying this knowledge. |
